The easiest genre to create. When I started, my room was jam packed with synthesizers and other gear. A decade later most of them expensive devices vanished into the DAW (digital audio workstation). Today some tunes are created entirely on a tablet...
Classical
Not really feasable to have a private orchestra at hand. With the DAW and appropriate libraries, the sound is quite acceptable. I respect a lot of the classical pieces, but I love their reincarnation in the form of modern movie or game soundtracks.
Rock
This is a vast genre and nothing beats the sound of a guitar or a real bass...if someone know how to play. I admit, it's not me but with the help of a DAW I can get away with it...
